Why Trust Evidence Based Longevity

Built on a standard
most longevity sites don't bother with

Every tool, rating, and recommendation on this site follows the same four rules — applied before anything is published.

Human Evidence First
We separate human clinical trials from animal studies, cell research, and mechanistic theory. A mouse study is not a human trial. We say so.
Dose and Form Matter
We compare products against the actual form and dose used in published research — not fairy-dust amounts added for label appeal.
Safety Before Stacking
Medication-nutrient considerations, supplement timing conflicts, and absorption interactions are flagged — before you build or buy anything.
Plain-Language Research
Every summary links to the source paper. We translate what the study shows — and what it does not prove. No extrapolation. No hype.
The EBL Standard

We say what the evidence
actually shows.

The longevity space is full of sites that treat a promising mouse study like a proven human therapy. We built EBL because that standard isn't good enough when people are making real decisions about their health.

We do not treat a mouse study like a human trial. Animal and cell data is labeled clearly — and never used to justify a product recommendation.
We do not confuse mechanism with outcome. "This activates SIRT1" is not the same as "this extends human lifespan." We know the difference.
We do not recommend fairy-dust doses. Every dosing range shown reflects what was actually used in published human studies.
We do not ignore medication and safety considerations. Drug-nutrient interactions, supplement timing, and absorption conflicts are always flagged first.
We show the study, the dose, the limitation, and the takeaway. Then we tell you what it does not prove — because honesty about limitations is what earns trust.
Why This Exists

I built this because
I couldn't find it.

After 47 years working in nutrition and clinical health — and watching the longevity supplement market flood with claims that no trial has ever tested in humans — I wanted one place that applied a single standard: if you can't cite the trial, you can't make the claim.

Every tool on this site was built to answer a question I kept hearing from people trying to make smart decisions about their health: What does the evidence actually say, at the dose that was actually studied?

Not a marketing page. A research translation platform. Free, because the information should be accessible — not paywalled.
